KATHRYN KIRK MURPHY
Kathryn often uses mirrors and reflection in her work to distort and confront reflection. Murphy’s work comments on beauty and the ways people can obsess over what they eat, what they look like, and why it matters.
She received her BFA from Temple University (2014) and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University (2018), where her work was selected as the cover of the MFA Thesis Exhibition Catalog.
Kathryn grew up in the Philadelphia area and currently lives in New Jersey.
